Maxho'l also named Lalo is one of the rare man weaver. He is a mayan Ixil living the Quiche area. He started weaving during the war. He was a child, seven years old, part of a Mayan Ixil family. Locked at home, to be safe, his imagination took him to playing with pieces of thread. Art is his oxygen, his freedom, his deepest expression...

MARGARITA CETO FROM NEBAJ

Margarita is a Mayan Ixil who lives in Santa Maria de Nebaj, in Quiche, Guatemala. She is the mother of one of our friend and she has been weaving all her life. She used to love it and meditate upon the cosmovision that holds her traditional art.
