Taghrarte nomad mule bag

Made by the Aït Morghade Tribe 50-60 years ago this type of textilel served a dual purpose. Taghrarte served as a mule bag, blanket or carpet by the nomads, comes from High Atlas Morocco. Made by the Aït Morghade Tribe, 50-60 years ago. It was comonly used to carry food and herbs along the belly of the mule. Also used during harvest time for semi nomadic people when they go to the field.
